LEAP YEAR SCHNIBBLES FINISHED

I finished my Schnibbles quilt for the month of June in "Another year or Schnibbles".   The pattern was a special one by Miss Rosie's Quilt Company and is called Leap Year.  The line is such a pretty summer combination of prints but it's an older line so it was really hard to find something for the border in the same line.  I found it though, I called the owner of a local quilt shop and he had just one bolt left.  Be sure to check out The Clover Patch for some really good prices.

Hey be sure to notice the awesome bench that my Awesome Husband has made for me.  I'll show a few more in a second.

I just love the blues, greens, pinks and yellows.  It makes me think of my Grand daughter Devri when she was only about 2, I asked her what color she liked and she said " I like Pink but Fiona likes Wellow."  So whenever I see Yellow I think Wellow and smile. :)

So I'd love to show you these pretty benches made by my  hubby.  He is so creative, I showed him a picture and said I need one or two of these.... Next thing I knew he had made a whole line of beautiful benches.  Some friends and I have a project started that requires the use of a bench.  I'll post pix later on.  My hubby felt inspired to make the backs different.  We couldn't pick which one we wanted until he finished the next one.  So far he's made 10 benches all different.  Lucky Girl!  Well yes, yes I am!  LOL  Better pictures require a better camera and it's not Christmas yet so bear with me please.

  1. Just love the fabrics in your quilt! My kids all said 'wellow' when they were little, too. Made me chuckle. And just adore the wonderful benches.

  5. Your quilt is great! I LOVE the benches...Your wellow story reminds me of last week when I had the Slip and Slide out for the grandkids. Kasey refers to it as the swip and swide..What they call them..it makes special memories for grandmas.
